 Hello there, today I have recorded a podcast. It was both tiring and fun actually. My podcast was a monologue one. Because I decided to work individually rather than with a pair. I've talked about my idea to improve or make the world a better place. The most difficult part of the task was the searching part. Because basing my thoughts on a concrete basis was hard. However, I have overcome it. First, I scanned articles on the internet about my topic and then wrote a script for my 60-second-long podcast. After that, I recorded my voice a couple of times chose the best one, and edited it. To be honest, I would like to say that the recording part was a little bit stressful for me. I think it really supports learning, and later in my teaching years I would like to give such a task to my students and I can prepare podcasts for my students as well. For week 7 in the instructional technologies course, we were supposed to design an infographic about ethical and legal issues related to effective technology use and I've completed mine right now. I designed an infographic for the first time so I think it was a little bit difficult. First, I decided on the specific topic that I wanted to use, and then I searched about this topic on internet. I have chosen safety and privacy issues as my topic and after searching I have taken notes. Then I searched about how to design an infographic and gathered general information. I used the Canva application for my task. I think it is a useful application for these kinds of tasks. I have tried different templates and ultimately decided on the one that I used. It is important to use legible fonts and colors in an infographic so I took into consideration these things as well.

 As a teacher candidate, I think 21st-century learning includes so many different terms. Two of the most important of these terms are critical thinking and digital literacy. Critical thinking briefly is questioning everything and looking for concrete evidence while searching for something. Digital literacy is to be able to benefit from technology in the education process. In the 21st century, it is vital to integrate technology in language classrooms because it has good effects on language learning. First, technology supports personalized learning, it gives importance to individual learner needs. And second, through using technology you can expose your students to different multimedia content which will enhance their learning. Using technology, teachers can provide their students with a language learning process that is both contemporary and more efficient.
