WHAT IS 21ST CENTURY LEARNING?
As a teacher candidate, I think 21st-century learning includes so many different terms. Two of the most important of these terms are critical thinking and digital literacy. Critical thinking briefly is questioning everything and looking for concrete evidence while searching for something. Digital literacy is to be able to benefit from technology in the education process. In the 21st century, it is vital to integrate technology in language classrooms because it has good effects on language learning. First, technology supports personalized learning, it gives importance to individual learner needs. And second, through using technology you can expose your students to different multimedia content which will enhance their learning. Using technology, teachers can provide their students with a language learning process that is both contemporary and more efficient. In summary, in this century it is vital to integrate technology into language classrooms because it supports learning with so many different aspects.
